By fully optimizing the listing and putting together a smart, lean PPC strategy, we tripled the conversion rate to 8.7% and slashed the TACoS from a huge 95% down to a healthy 29% – completely turning the brand’s trajectory around.

Gourmet Heaven was founded by Gonzalo Ferreira to sell sustainable and high-quality kitchen products. He started on Amazon with high hopes, but as a new brand starting from zero, Gourmet Heaven needed the right launch strategy to gain traction, build trust with their audience, and put together the foundation for a profitable business.
Gourmet Heaven’s launch went badly from the start. Gonzalo’s first attempt at bringing on PPC help resulted in a team creating him 40 campaigns in 15 days, spending his entire starting budget while selling only a fraction of his inventory. This left him with a deep distrust of agencies and serious doubts about building his business on Amazon.
Upon onboarding him, we quickly identified a few core issues and came up with some insights:
With only $50 per day to work with, every single dollar of the budget had to be spent efficiently with no room for wasteful experimentation or poorly structured campaigns.
The product didn’t have a compelling main image or crucial keywords in the title, and even the packaging wasn’t connecting with customers, which harmed conversions.
The account didn’t have a clear campaign structure, making targeting customers, controlling performance, or improving the product’s key term ranking difficult.
All this led to the brand suffering from dangerously high TACoS (up to 95%) and a low Conversion Rate (under 3%), meaning it was losing money on nearly every sale.
Gourmet Heaven didn’t just need better ads – it needed a complete foundational reset and a partner they could trust. Sophie Society stepped in to give Gonzalo both, focusing on fixing his core assets first to make sure every ad dollar spent would be as effective as possible.
First we audited and recommended significant improvements to the listing, including updating the main image, optimizing the title with high-value keywords, and adding the main keyword to the product packaging to improve relevance and CTR.
We shifted budget from low-impact to rank pushes on the top money terms, exchanging a short-term ACoS bump for stronger organic. Then, using Campaign Chaining, we scaled the winners across Auto→Broad→Exact and SB/SBV/SD, pacing by rank stage.
We replaced the previous setup with a focused structure built around ranking campaigns for the most important keywords and high-performing video ads. This ensured the limited budget was concentrated where it mattered most.
We took over the complex, time-consuming work of daily campaign management. This freed up Gonzalo and let him focus on his primary job while confidently planning his next product launch.
Through continuous monitoring and optimization, we brought the average CPC down to under $1 while focusing on improving efficiency. This let us turn things around and go from losing money to becoming profitable.
